Academician Gao introduced: Gao Congxi, researcher, doctoral tutor, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering. Born in November 1942, Jimo in Shandong Province. He graduated from the Department of Chemistry of Shandong Ocean University in 1965 and participated in the national desalination battle from 1967 to 1969. He worked in the First and Second Institute of Oceanography of the State Oceanic Administration and the Hangzhou Water Treatment Technology Research and Development Center of the State Oceanic Administration. In 1993, he was awarded the title of young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions from the state. In 1995, he was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. In June 2013, he was formally employed by Zhejiang University of Technology. He is currently the honorary chairman of the China Society for Desalination and Water Reuse and the Zhejiang Membrane Society. Domestic journals "Water Treatment Technology", "Membrane Science and Technology" and international journal "Journal of Membrane Science", "Desalination" editor, editorial board, senior consultant and special reviewer.
